Who wants to cut off their feet to spite their carbon print? It’s a lot easier to try just treading lighter—and so appealing, too, now that Umbra, one of our very favorite brands is turning out such incredible eco-friendly wares.

Though the company’s green initiative is a fairly recent development, Umbra has a long track record of turning out great design, and their new eco collection should silence all who have their lingering doubts that it’s not possible to live both chicly and responsibly.

Innovative pieces include elegant trashcans molded from recycled plastic, a bulletin board wrought of stacked reprocessed paper, and pieces incorporating plantation-grown wood or easily-renewable bamboo.
