THE BUCKLER*

f1.jpgAndrew Buckler teams up with Flaunt Magazine to produce a one of a kind fashion experience that included stilt walkers, fire-eaters, ring performers, and erotic dancers.

(*In Old French the term “Buckler” means The Boss, or it’s a small shield that was used during hand to hand combat.)

It was held in a one of Downtowns most elite venues The 740 Club. The Club is its own is a maze of little rooms, basements, and balconies. In the early ’40s it was a premier theater and, last week, it homed some of the sexiest fashionistas to crawl out of the woodworks here in LA.

Buckler’s innovative designs combine very classic sophisticated cuts with very London/Brit street edge. He pays attention to every detail with brass buckles, silver zippers, and double thread stitching.

Yes I was impressed with the show, but it was the people that stood in the line, wondered through the club, and danced their buts off that really caught my eye.
