Well, we were rooting for Lolo Jones. She made the hurdling final, broke from the pack and—dang!—she hit a hurdle with two to go. Almost! I love that her website is runlolorun.com. Listen to the song on there. Hilarious. That said, sprinter, Allyson Felix is frikkin’ adorable and so fast. But what about the runner from Bahrain? Crazy getup.

And unfortunate for the absurdly cute He Kexin, teeny Chinese gymnast who’s being accused of being underage. Allegedly, reports have been made that she’s only 14 but nothing’s certain yet. Still, that would not be good for the host country.

Congrats to the U.S.: Women’s soccer, sailing and, of course, Misty May and Kerri Walsh. Best duo in China (except maybe for Venus and Serena).—CS
