AWARENESS IS BLISS

The Second Annual Surf for Awareness surf event, as told by event creator, Una Baker

The day was beautiful with perfect contest waves all day. We had approximately 150 surfers and our survivor heat had six woman—one of whom had just started surfing three days ago.

We had over double the amount of contestants and crowd on the beach all day—the energy, support and
community vibe was felt by everyone. To bring awareness to our next generation is priceless. B4BC is geared to bringing awareness about a healthy lifestyle, knowing our bodies and being proactive. This also goes to being aware of our environment. We set up recycle bins everywhere to remind everyone how much the enviroment plays an important role in our day to day health!
