Swimmer Killed in First Shark Attack In San Diego In 40+ Years

This just in: Apparently a swimmer was attacked and killed by a shark just off Pillbox Beach in Solana Beach, California, this morning.

Lifeguards report the bite radius at 23 inches, quite a sizable shark.

This event comes on the heels of a pair of surfers at Cardiff Reef reportedly encountered a 3-foot “baby” Great White Shark early last week.

Keep tuned in for more information as the story develops.
