Shark Attack in San Diego
Swimmer Killed in First Shark Attack In San Diego In 40+ Years
This just in: Apparently a swimmer was attacked and killed by a shark just off Pillbox Beach in Solana Beach, California, this morning.
Lifeguards report the bite radius at 23 inches, quite a sizable shark.
This event comes on the heels of a pair of surfers at Cardiff Reef reportedly encountered a 3-foot “baby” Great White Shark early last week.
Keep tuned in for more information as the story develops.

The guy was apparently training for a triathlon and between 50-60 years old. Poor guy! This site seems to have more info as well: http://www.gogirlfriend.com/travel-news/shark-attack-san-diego-10330
