IT’S AN ART
)(urley’s Pre-Season Fashion Show, August 11, 2008
The folks at Hurley put on an amazing show within the hallowed halls of the Laguna Beach Art Museum. The show was held at the museum where Hurley’s sponsoring the Retinal Delights exhibit featuring work from Raymond Pettibon, Robert Williams and other contemporary masters.
The fashion show brought some of Hurley’s spring 09 fashions to life for women, men, juniors and kids. The juniors’ line, dubbed ‘Young Contemporary,’ is a repeat of the talents seen in Hurley’s first full line from designer Jenna Wilson, which debuted to buyers in Holiday 2008. The looks and styles were truly stunning.
Swim lit up the runway with trends such as metallic fabrics, bold artistic prints, and chic hardware detailing. Making a statement in bright blues and soft yellows were the sensational dresses in extraordinary silk-like fabrics as they were debuted at the show. All looks were accessorized with seasonal basics and easy beach cover-ups to get everyone’s heart pumping for what’s in stores in spring 2009.
