We troll resident Music Editor Cristina Black’s blog to try to get into her mind. Her blog is the next best thing. What we just surfed and loved, is Bethany Cosentino’s new band, Best Coast. From Ms Black: The album “is all about the things she loves most: weed, sunshine, beaches, slacker boys. And it’s all fuzzed out in that surf-doofus sound I love so much. Bethany’s like the female Wavves, which makes sense, because they’ve been friends since they were in high school. I just can’t get enough of these beach-brats, especially in high summer.
